Direxions and IRIS help shape the future of science!

RIS is an initiative that has spanned more than a decade with the sole objective of inspiring and enabling tomorrow’s innovation.
From engaging with schools through workshops to inviting scientists to volunteer to be part of the Scientific Review Committee, to successfully managing the program milestones of call for entries, to implementing the national fair, Direxions supports IRIS in its quest to identify budding young scientists and help showcase their scientific thought at the international platform- ISEF. Back in 1998, the Intel Science Talent Discovery Fair was launched in India, It has grown into India's largest science promotion and fair initiative for students. Now called Initiative for Research & Innovation in Science (IRIS), it is conducted in partnership with the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, and the Confederation of Indian Industry.Over the last 10 years, Intel STDF and IRIS have succeeded in unearthing brilliant young minds from schools across the country at the National Fairs held every year. The National Winners have gone on to represent India and showcase their ideas to the world at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), held in the United States of America. We celebrate the winners at ISEF 2012, Congratulations to all the winners!
